Present:
Vice-President of the Commission for the Geological Map of the World (CGMW-President for the Middle East).
General coordinator, compiler and synthesis of the Seismotectonic Map of the World, along with earthquake data from five millennia, as a worldwide contribution to the communities especially to scientific and educational institutions (CGMW & UNESCO, 2001);
New Geological Map of the Middle East; educational Map of the World Structural and Plate Kine matics.
Collaboration in preparation of the international earth science maps of the continents and world wide coverage: geological, tectonics, seismotectonic / natural hazards, environmental, sea-floor, hydrogeological, metallogenic and metamorphic maps of Asia, South & East Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and World (e.g. Geological Map of the World as published by CGMW & UNESCO, 1990 & 2000, etc).
Member of CLIP (Climates of the Past / Earth Processes in Global Change; UNESCO & International Union of Geological Sciences). Contribution to international scientific projects, e.g. Tethys & Peri-Tethys. President of the Geological /Geological and Mineral Survey of Iran (elected by relative ministers) Consultant to the UNESCO for establishment of the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES) in Iran. Member of Iranian National High Council for Earth Sciences (representing the Minister of Mines and Metals) with duties to evaluate and approve all geological and mineral research programs and activities. Consultant to Vice-Minister of the Mines and Metals and President of the Qeshm Free Area. Member of Iranian scientific council for Qeshm International University and for establishment of the Persian Gulf Biotechnology Research Center. Offered establishment of Geobiotechnology as a new scientific branch; as well the modernization importance of earth and natural sciences subject for young generation; for future living land and environmental protection and sustainable development; suggest for earthquake prediction and I or mitigation scientific programs.
