Abstract :

There is a fault in south of Birjand ( east Iran), in border of Bagheran moantain and Birjand flat, it’s called South Birjand Fault. But because of rare information, seismic information actually, it doesn’t be studied orderly and it is unknown until now. Where as quality of morphotectonic indicators show the tectonic activities in best way, some of them are investigated for receiving to tectonic activities in this fault length. Reasults from investigated morphometric indicator, like Mountain Front Morphology, Valley Profile Morphology, River Channel Morphology and their analyse with histograms and looking at created morphotectonics in this fault can be active now. Then drawing contour diagrams for indicator in Ali abad, Sourk, Dehno, Zaman abad and Rich mountain shows these regians are activest places in fault lengh.
