Abstract :
Sedimentary units (Tuff, Congelomerate, sandstone and shal) were folded in the Chelonak area .Twelve different axes of fold were recognized, which indicate several strains in this area. To determine the number of strain and position of each fold in occurred strain ,some helps taken from artificial neural networks. For this purpose, six parameters related to folds was prepared. After modeling the region and testing data, artificial neural networks were predicted five stages of strain for the region and guessed the formation of each folds as follow: Shavangan anticline and Taj kooh syncline in second stage; Cahak anticline and Shavangan syncline between second and third stage; Chelonak anticline in third stage; Chelonak syncline in fourth stage and evolution of these folds in current shape occurred in fifth stage. with respect to formation of Birjand northern and Qaen southwest spleys(from the northern splays of Nehbandan fault system) in several stages which lead to occur of compression-shear zone, sequence of occurred strains in this region could be attributed to these splays.
