Abstract :
The recognised nine axes of fold in Chelonak area (seven axes of fold in north region and two axes of fold in south region). Tuff, pyroclastic and sandstone are in north region; congelomerate, sandstone and shale are in south region. Point load test does help for rock unit area behavior analyse elasticity rock unit product follow: folds sandstone south area 22; folds sandstone north area 11.5; tuffs north area 8.17. Comparison and analysis of microscopic thin sections show much difference is Ptrgrafy two north and south sandstone. Sedimentary environment analysis area likely that rocks units in the southern region were soon out of the water. Lead to viscous sandstone of north area high of other rock units in this area. Finally, there Chelonak area folds can be justified so that, in the event sequence of strain (compression-shear zone) viscosity units because the northern region is higher, the unit suffered more than deformation folds and rock units have been in the southern region.
