Abstract :
Ring complex of Givshad in south of Birjand is located in northern part of Sistan structural zone, east of Iran. It belongs to Eocene. Field studies show that this mass near the surface with ring structure and mechanism of subsidence caldera collapse piston type has appeared. Based on studies of microstructure during the emplacement of magma, magma synkinematic at the same time under tectonic stress and shortening into this range in NW-SE direction and is perpendicular to the axis caldera collapse. This analogue experiments confirming that the magma chamber close to the surface, the maximum difference in shear stress at the edge of magma chamber side and is located away from the magma chamber and close to the surface the maximum tensile stress expands and thus the conditions for the formation of normal faults are provided in other series of experiments to simulate regional stress field, simultaneously with the? formation caldera falling into is the issue and confirming that the major axis of oval caldera collapse Givshad perpendicular to regional tension is shortening.
