Abstract :

Nehbandan area because of active faults has vital condition. For this reason assessment of earthquake hazard and seismic microzoning is essential. In this research faults characteristics were determined by using geological maps and then risk of earthquake with deterministic method were concluded. Faults hazards and maximum ground acceleration needed for construction designs were calculated via empirical relations.
