Abstract :
The jajarm bauxite deposit is the biggest known bauxite deposit in Iran. The Taguee Area, extension of west to east bauxite orebody, is located after Golbini and Zoo areas, and is seen as a narrow strip with a width of more than one km and about 7 km in length. X –Ray diffraction patterns indicate that deposits of eastern Taguee consist of Diaspore, the most important bauxite mineral, chamosite, hematite, kaolinite, anatase, iIllite, cancrinite, crandalite, calcite, quartz, maghemite, muscovite, goethite, gypsum, and boehmite. Bauxite in the east region of Taguee shows symmetrical vertical profile: 1- upper kaolinite, 2- hard bauxite, 3- clayey soft bauxite, 4- lower kaolinite. Results of chemical analysis (XRF) indicate that the east region of Taguee orebody is bauxite and bauxite clay type.
