Abstract :

Early cretaceous strata of Kopet-Dogh basin contain relatively divers nannofloras.
Sanganeh Formation is one of Early Cretaceous Formation. By using polarized
microscope 18 genera and 41 species were identified from studied Amirabad and 15 genera and 36 species from Mozduran locality. Accoding to stratigraphic distribution of calcareous nannoplanctons of the studied sections, the first occurrence of index species and fossil assemblage, 4 biozones of Sissingh biozonation(1977)are erected which are coincide with biozones CC8-CC11. Based on the mentined biozones the AlbianiEarly-Middle Tuoronian, age is proposed for the studied sections.
