Abstract :
Andalusite( A12SiO5 ) belongs to the kyanite group mineral. Refractoriness, Resistance Against high temperature and low thermal expansion give this mineral a Special particularity among acid refractory products. The East Fariman Andalusite Shist deposit incude minerals Sush as Andalusite, Quartz, Mica and Feldspar, with the maximum carot of 20 _ 28 % Andalusite The percentage of A12O3 in Fariman Analusite ( The most important Factor in contorolling the level of refactoriness ) is from 13.40 % before to the 51.30% after mineral processing. The primary results of the research on mineralogy, geochemistry and mineral processing indicates the possiblity of producing Acid refractory products from Fariman Andalusite.
