Abstract :
The Cheshmeh Zard gold deposit is located in the southwest of Nishabour, NE of Iran. The method of cyanide leaching and absorption on the zinc foil is proposed for gold metal extraction on the basis of mineral processing study (Pilot test). So far, mineral processing studies have not been carried out on the sulfide zone of this deposit.
In feasibility studies, one of the important steps is the design of mineral processing plant and the evaluation of their expenses. This article presents mineral processing operations, selection of required machineries plus their capacity, and eventually, estimation of costs of the main items. Mineral processing plant is designed in two variants of 3 and 4.5 years for exploitation and processing the oxide zone of the whole deposit. The capital cost of equipment expenses, planned in two variants, are estimated based on internal and external prices. Finally, with the procedures and current studies of mine design, we are able to achieve the economic evaluation of the whole project and its indicators.
