Writers : Mohammadi,Seid Saeid
Refference : The 19th Symposium on Geoscience;Tehran
Publishing Year : 1379

Abstract :
Hajat asbestos mine is setting south of Khorasan about 55km east of Nehbandan, east of Iran. As geoloical view the studied region is a part of ophiolit melange belt in northern part of Sistan suture zone. The rock association include of serpentinite, serpentinized harzburgite, serpentinized lherzolite, dunit, listvenit, metagabbro, greenschist &…. The main country rock for asbestos vein is serpentinized harzburgite. Tectonic activity during abducted oceanic cyust over continental margin and the reactivated Bandan fault system Produced fracture and open soace in preidotitic rocks and provided suitable spacemen for asbestos mineralization. During the serpentinization process at first Produced chrisotile with find fibrous aggregate and then under tectonic devdlopment process and spreading new fractures, provided suitable condition for chrisotile fibers with rich potential zones.
