Abstract :
Mineral mapping carried out on Aster satellite data producing alteration maps for Kuh Zar IOCG gold deposit, Chah-e-Shaljami high sulfidation (lithocap of porphyry -Cu), Hired reduced magmatic gold, and Maherabad porphyry copper prospecting area. Following alteration mineral were identified: At Kuh Zar only chlorite; Chah-e-Shaljami alunite-quartz dickite-montmorillonite-chlorite-epidote-jarosite; at Hired, quartz- tourmaline-chlorite-and minor kaolin; and at Maherabad, sericire-quartz-kaolin- chlorite-epidote-hematite
