Abstract :
The Baghran mountain range in south of Birjand contains a sequence of oceanic lithosphere, flysch facies, detrital limestone and pyroclastic rocks. This range of mountain has divided tow northern and southern parts with an east_ west trend main shear zone (MSZ) The rocks have sheared and rock faults with different sizes and shapes have formed in the MSZ. Rock faults have separated to four groups based on the size and shape clasts analysis First group has yield of deformed pridotits which relation between length and width of clasts is shown as W= 0.4705 L 0.7295 with high coefficient correlation (R= 0.92) and clasts have amigdaloidal shape. Second group has yield of deformed spilits, habbros and dibases which have an equation as W= 0.627 L_ 0.9224 with high coefficient correlation (R= 0.99) and clasts have romboeder shape Third group has produced of sheared pyroclastic rocks longth and width of clast have an exponential equation as W= 24,706e_ with high coefficient correlation (R= 0.96) and olmost of clasts have angular shape Forth group yield of deformed sedimentary rocks, grin size analysis of clasts show a logarithmic equation as W= 71.627 ln (L)247.55 with high coefficient correlation (R= 0.99) and clasts have botridal shape.
