Abstract :

The traverse migration of fault zone is one of the tectonic events coupled with Dasht-e-Bayaz fault. In spite of several generations of qanates in aerial photos studies shows numerous generations of Dasht- e- Bayaz fault activity. In whichever, by considering to faulting line, the watercourse of the previous qanates have closed and new qanates in southern part have constracted That shows migration toward southern of fault. The migration of fault scarps in Dasht- e- Bayaz fault zone observes whit appearance of seversl scarps and rivers sinisteral displacement in the shape of staircase. Difference in rate of erosion of fault scarp walls and rivers bed show that these scarps have fromed during difference seismic events. For the purpose, several sections traveled for collecting of fault segments evidences of the same width whit 1347 fault. On the basis of studies, in any activities the average displacement increase about 450m of fault scarp in vertical direction. Therefore very probably, fault zone during next activity will sit in southern situation of present zone. For increase of immunization, zone for this fault suggests 650m.
