Abstract :
Cheshmeh Zard gold deposit, situated on the Tertiary magrnatic belt, alongatec from Semnan to Torbat Heydariyeh, is a fracture filling suiphide gold bearing deposit, containing two kinds of gangues ; quartz and carbonates ones . well logging of 1338m . drilling, geological studies of / ° geological maps and trenches, insisting on the microscopic investigations of polished and thin sections, resulted the following conclusions:
1- olessination of the mineral succession trend.
2- determination of different generations of sulfide mineralizations.
determination of the Au place among the different mineralization phases.
3- estimination of the mineralization temperature.
4`- determination of the wall rock alteration.
5- classification of the different sulfide generations.
6- seperation of ! different gangues of quartz and carbonate.
A determination of vertical zonation of the mineralization.
Located in a plutonic environment, near Sabzevar structural zone,
belonging and relationship of the Cheshmeh Zard gold deposit to one of these geological phenomena has been
discussed , in the course of this investigation.
