Writers : Zirjanizadeh, S.; Karimpour, M.H.; Ebrahimi, Kh.
Refference : 2nd National Symposium of Iranian Society of Economic Geology

Abstract :

The study area is located in the Khorasan Razavi and East of Iran. The rocks of area are mainly pyroclastic such as; ignimberite, aglomerate, acidic tuff, volcanic rock such as: rhyolite, dacite and trachyandesite (Cenozoic) and shale and sandstone of shemshak (middle Jurassic) . prospecting in this area, using ASTER mineral mapping (Sam) in the region with some Alteration, has satisfactory result for different alteration minerals. The results of stream sediments analysis show assay for Ba (328 -1160 ppm), Pb (17-301 ppm) ,Cu (19-35 ppm), Sb (0-38 ppm), Zn (45-123 ppm). age and type of igneous rocks, variety alteration, and unusual assay for Cu, Zn, As, Sb, Pb and Ba in the stream sediments, demand more detail investigation in this region.
