Abstract :

Damdame granitoid bodies, is located at 120km southeast of Birjand in East of Iran Ophiolite mélange belt at northern part of Sistan suture zone.Field relationship indicating intrusion of granitoid into ultramafic units. Petrographically, the studied granitoids are named porphyric granite. Their magmatic series is calc-alkaline that opposite with tholeiitic nature of oceanic plagiogranites. Comparison of average content of some major elements, trace elements and REE spider diagrams in Damdame granitoids with plagiogranites show that studied rocks have different characteristics.Field, petrography and geochemical evidence show that Damdame granitoids comparable with I-type granitoids and due to tectonic setting are VAG.
