Abstract :

In this paper lower Permian Conodonts from the Limestone member of Deh- Morghii section has been studied . It is localted 5 km on the southwest of Bajestan area.
The lithology in this section consist of three members.
Lower members consist of shale, Sandy limestone and Quartz Arnite. with
intercalations of limestone beds.
Middle member : light to dark gray and thin to medium limeston beds.
Upper member: dark to light gray and thick limeston beds� which are Dolomitic in upper parts. Contact between this unit and the upper Certaecous sedimentary has been faulted. Biostratigraphy of middle member is the purpose of this study . Therefore a 24 samples have been collected of middle member for systematic study of the conodont elcments.
The samples were prepared and analyzed in the conodont labrotory of GSINET
( Meshad) and the samples are distinguished as fllow :
Sweetognathus inorantus, S. merrilli, S. white,Mesogondolella bisselli, M. shindyensis, M. gujiensis, M. idahensis,wardlawella cf. adenticulata, Hindeodella.sp.Hindeodus sp.,
According to distinguishment 5 genra and 8 species of condonts of this unit could be attributed to sakmarian – Late kungurian age.
