Abstract :

The study area is located in 35 kilometers northwest of Bardaskan city and in Taknar structural zone. Lithology of the area are including Taknar Formation, which is consist of chlorite sericite schist and meta-gabbro-diorite, and Precambrian granitoid rocks divided to Meta hornblende quartz monzonite porphyry, Meta-quartz syenite porphyry and Meta quartz monzonite porphyry which are intrusived in Taknar formation. Also, colored mélange, which is related to Sabzevar zone, is observed in north of area Main alteration zones in the region are associated with granitoid rocks. They are including silicified-sericitic+chloritic zone, silicified-chloritic+sericitic zone, strong silicified+sericitic zone, silicified-iron oxide zone, and silicified-sericitic-chloritic+secondary biotite zone. Mineralization observed in three states in Taknar formation units, mineralization in granitoid masses and vein mineralization.
