Abstract :
The Taknar tectono-magmatic zone consist of acidic to intermediate volcano-sedimentary assemblages, hypabyssal mafic rocks and shale and metamorphosed sandstone has been hosted of Pb and Zn, Cu, Au and Fe deposits and occurrences. The Fe deposits of Northern Kabudan province with magnetite and hematite major Fe-minerals accompanied with jasspilite and Fe-rich cherts occurs as a banded, lens shape and disseminated forms it has been hosted in Taknar metamorphosed shale, volcano-sedimentary pelagic rocks and meta-rhyolite, rhyodacite and acidic tuffs altered rocks belongs to Precambrian at the structural controls of regions. Based on geochemical studies, two group elements excited consist of Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn (factor 1) and Cu, Au and Ag (factor 2) that has been occurred as a twice elements of Fe-Mn (0.78), Cu-Fe (0.73), Au-Ag (0.67), Cu-Au (0.63) and have a genetic positive relation with iron ore bodies in the study area.
