Abstract :
South khorasan Province with an area of 95388 km2, although considered one of the country s deprived regions, has noticeable mineral abilities out of which we can point to the numerous decorative stones, copper potentials and the anomalies resulted from the lead potentials as well as zinc and iron potentials in this region.
The discovery zone of Bisheh, according to the Iran s major deposit-structional extent division, is a section of Northern Loute block with an approximate area of 100 Acres located Birjand southeast whose rock composition varies from mafic to acidic.
The Northern Loute magmatic activity has begun since the historical cretaceous, i.e. 77 million years ago, which these volcanic activities may be a result of infra-drift of Afghan block downward the Loute block. Now in regard to these activities, indexes of cupper, iron, lead and zinc have been identified in these regions. In this study we have attempted to investigate further the economic geology of Bisheh southern region. To achieve this, some geochemical, geophysical and petrographic studies have been applied.
