Abstract :

Bozveshk prospected area is located in 53 km southwest of Mashhad City, and 102 kilometers east of Neyshabour city. Exploration works in this region were performed on a 32km2 area and 87 samples taken. also Number 37 heavy mineral samples were collected for study. Stream sediment samples were analyzed for 53 elements in ICP-MS method at ACME lab in Canada. After censoring the chemical analysis data and neutralizing the upstream rock effects for all these samples, uni-variant and multi-variant statistical processing such as the calculation of correlation coefficients, cluster analysis, factor analysis and so on were performed on these data and their results have been interpreted. Finally, the prospected areas in Bozveshk exploration region 1.the south of Bazeh Shurone Bala field( Bazeh Madan field),2.kalateh gholi field( Bazeh Aghol Palang field) and, 3. The west of Bazeh Dokhtar Bala field, have been defined from combining geochemical data, heavy minerals, mineralization, alteration, density and faults information and they are as follows: Anomalous areas of Bazeh Madan and Aghol Palang are important in Cu and Fe and anomalous area of Bazeh Dokhtar is only important for Fe. Also, Bazeh Madan region is significant for Au because an anomalous sample and Au tracks were observed in fused slag in streams heading to mineralization zone in this area.
