Abstract :
In the southwest of Birjand, the tertiary volcanic rocks and sub volcanic rocks have outcroped. The complex sub volcanic of Givshad have outcroped in paleocene flysch type. The Givshad sub-volcanic have porfiric and microgranolar texture and occurs in confine porfiritic diorite. Their minerals are plagioclase( oligoclase – andesine), amphibole, biotite, Quartz and opaque minerals. Plagioclases alterated to clay minerals and ca-carbonate and phenocrysts of hornblend alterated to biotite and epidote. On the volcanic rocks of Givshad region that occurs in confine andesite and basalt, plenty gypsum mineral observe that it in part of region can mine.
