Abstract :
The study area is located 25 km south-eastern of Ghonabad. Several types of granitoids rocks have been identified. Based on magmatic susceptibility, both ilmenite and magnetite series were identified. Granodiorite is belonging to ilmenite series. Monzontic rocks are younger than granodiorite, they form as stock based on mineral composition and magnetic susceptibility less than [(500)*15-5 SI] they belong to magnetite series. Chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, pyrite, siderite, malachite, azurite and hematite mineralization were recognized. Mineralization seems to be associated with in some types of monzonitic and granodioritic rocks, areas with strong silicification and argillic alteration. Dominant alteration is: Sericitic, propylitic, silicified, argillic and tourmaline. Based on rock chip and stream sediment geochemical exploration, high anomalies of Sn, Au, Cu, Pb, Zn were identified. Based on more than 100 samples taken from mineralized and altered zone (from the drilled cores) show that the Sn-W-Au-Pb-Zn-Cu-As anomalies and silicic alteration is associated with some type of monzonitic rocks. Maximum Sn, W, Au, Pb, Zn, Cu, As anomaly in associated within a fault zone located within Rudgaz area.
