Abstract :
Chshmeh Zard mining district ,covering 25km surface is located 45km south west of Neyshabur, in the northern part of Khorasan province. The area being a part of 1:5000 geological map of Arghash, is called Anomaly No.3.
The rock units covering the area consist of the upper Paleocene _Eocene volcanic units and granitoid masses.
Gold mineralization and the accompanied minerals have been deposited in the course of the last hydrothermal phase accompanied with gaseous complex saturated of silica and their Circulation in the open spaces, formed by the tectonic activities.
