Abstract :
Fariman-Torbat-e-Jam belt granitoidic plutons(40km2) is located in the south-east Mashhad and in the 35 km of south-east of Fariman(capital of Razavi of Khorasan province) and in the Sabzevar zone(central-Iran zone). Compositional range of igneouse rocks of Fariman-Torbat-e-Jam belt include dioritie, geranodiorit and alkaligranite. This pluton intruded in Perecambrian mikaschists. They are suffered a typical contact metamorphic rocks. The studied granitoidic rocks are divided into dioritic and granitic groups in respectively. Field observations, petrography and especially geochemical characteristics indicate that dioritic rocks have sub-alkaline and metaluminous nature and mantel origin. Also, These evidences show that granitic rocks have calc-alkaline and peraluminous natuer and supra-crustal and mixing origin. Different discrimination tectonic-setting diagrams indicate that granitoidic rocks are volcanic- arc granitoids of continental margin.
