Abstract :
Study the deflection of bed or planar fabric throughout faults or slip surface as a Flanking structures or Flanking folds in different scale, can be useful as a lateral tools to analysis of shear zones, this kinds of structures can be generate in pure shear or simple shear zones, in different rocks formation, and get evolution by increasing the deformation tensity. At last all !the flanking structures can be placed in three major type such as: a-type, s-type , n-type (shear bands). Structural analysis of Groung area in west of birjand indicate that this kind of structures in this Region regardedly had evolved. Our investigation indicate that three principal different type of this structures exist in rock formation of the region. Conclusion of this study shows that most of the following structures in this area are dextral and formed in simple shear which have !accordance with the predominant shear system of lute and system suture zone.
