Abstract :
The Shah-kuh pluton, a large granitoidic intrusion in east Iran, was intruded into the Dehsalm metamorphic rocks in south-south east and sedimentary rocks including sandstone and shale with Jurassic age in north-northwest areas. Its thermal aureole contains a variety of and sand stone-shell Hornfelses. Mineral parageneses in the politic and sand stone-shell are studied here and mineralogical zone are determined. The maximum pressure of contact metamorphism is estimated to have been about 2.2 kbar on the basis of mineral parageneses in the politic rocks, indicating that the intrusion was emplaced no deeper than 8 km in the crust. In this study , for contact metamorphism the temperature of 610 C° has been obtained for this certain depth.
