Abstract :
The Anaran area is located in the Northwest of Birhand and city in East of Iran. This area is one of the Listvenite mineralized zone in the gold belt of Iran. The Anaran area is mainly underlain by plutonic rocks of Eocene to Oligocene age, sedimentrary rochs, Listvenite rocks. The dikes are emplaced into plutomc rocks. The plutonic rocks are mainly gabbro to diorite of Eocene age. The sedimentary rocks are Sandestone,Red Marl, Green Marl and intercalation Marl of Eocene age. During a regional stream sediment geochemical exploration carried out in this area a few years ago, some copper and gold anomaly was discovered. The aim of our project is to develop a regional exploration strategy for gold in these Listvenite rocks. The following results are based on geological and stream geochemical explorations in 1:20000 scale of this area. During this study 163 samples were collected from the stream sediments. These samples were analyzed for Au Cu, Pb, Zn, , Ag, by ES. Data processing showed that the Cu anomaly was developed mainly over and around the plutonic rocks. The average Cu in these rocks is about 12000 ppm. Unfortunately this anomaly is not covering a large part of this area. In addition, of the Cu anomaly is associated with Ag and Pb. These two elements show good correlation together. In the listvemte rocks we don't fmd the good anomaly for gold.
