Abstract :
The listweanites outcrops (carbonatized serpentinites) exist extremly inBirjand - Nehbandan axis occuring in east of Iran that the listweanites haveformed along of major faults and near of serpentinic ultrabasic rocks andbetween fliesh - colored melange - ophiolitic complex to extent more than25000 km2. The most of this outcrops is seen the south of Mokhtaran area. Thelistweanites with a view to petrology are divided to types of: the breccia siliciclistweanite, the silicic listwenite without sulfide, the silicic - carbonaticlistweanite, and the carbonatic listweanite. The listweanites of sulfide brecciasilicic type have special important and for "gold" exploration can been suitablecase. In listweanite complex major minerals are cryptocrystaline quartz(jasperoide, opal), crystaline quartz, calcite, dolomite, magnesite, siderite, serpentine and cholrite, and minor minerals are pyroxene, chormite, magnetite, cinnabar, chalcopyrite, pyrite, arsenopyrite, bornite and Fe-oxide- hydroxide.
In studing heavy minerals samples has been particles of gold (30-150micron) together pyrite, chalcopyrite, cinnabar and native copper. Importantalteration in the listweanitic complex are silicification, limonitization, hematitization and a little argillic.
Genesis of gold, silver, arsenic, copper and .... have originated fromserpentinized ultrabasic rocks. To progress of regional metamorphism, includingfluids of anions (CO3)2-, Cl-, (SO4)2-have formed the complexes with metalicelements (Au, Ag, As, Hg, Cu) and by ascending to upper parts vein depositsincluding gold in have formed sulfide silicic breccia zones together depositionof silica.
