Abstract :
Aitamir Formation of Albian-Cenomanian crops out in the Kopet-Dagh Basin in the northeast Iran. This Formation is composed of sandstone, mudstone with minor amounts of carbonate rocks. Combination of diagenetic processes and sequence stratigraphy led to interpretation of the time and space of the effects of these parameters. Combination of these of two data show that TST and lower HST sandstones have low reservoir quality because of cementation and Dissolution process led to increase porosity in upper HST sandstones, however, the subsequent cementation decreases the porosity again.?
