Abstract :

The ostracods of upper cretaceous (kalat formation) records form geological unit of Kopet - Dagh in type-section of Kalat formation (Tange-Neyzar) in Moadoran - Sarakhs is 285 (m) thick. 5 member in this formation determined. In member of lower and upper shales, 20 samples collected. 21 genus and 9 species of octracods recognized. These ostracods with foraminifera of calcarinidea such as Index fossil (Sidrolites Calsitrapoides) suggest maastrichtian age. These ostracods in this time deposited in Carbonate platform that is related to open - mann and in bioherm sediments concludes mann - funa.
