Abstract :
A mineralization zone in KamarTallar, in Gazik area is engulfed within Ophiolitc complex in Sistan suture zone in east of Iran.. It is The Mn- bearing ore bodies of KamarTallar occurred as discontinuous patches intimately associated with cherts and meta – spilites. Field evidence shows that the Mn- bearing patches are principally superficial and laterally limited Braunite, Bixbyite and Pyrolusite are the major opaque minerals. Silica is the main gangue mineral. Mn- bearing minerals mainly occur as veins, veinlets, and podiform indicating later remobilization of Mn during operation of secondary fluids. Three types of Mn ores are recognized in KamarTallar, 1) syngenetic, 2) diagenetic and 3) epigenetic. High ratio Si/Al in ore body (9.1-57.3) and radiolarian sediments show that they have deposited in a sedimentary environment as sea floor exhalatives process.
