Abstract :
In this study the map of the local faults within region has been prepared. The data on historical and 20_ century earthquake gathered from various referance have also been incorporated in this map. Map of the seismic energy distribution for the peresent century was prepared and seismically active have been indicated. In addition the earthquake have been compared with respect to their type of fracture and mechanisms.
However because of seismic gap which is easily recognizable in this region it is there fore recommended that due to important of the matter, population density and concentration of industrial activities in these areas the subject will be evaluated further by and field investigations.
