Abstract :

The main objective of a small scale stream sediments geochniical survey is to detetrniine the favorable areas for the further exploration. To achieve this goal the treshholds value of each interested element within the geochemical sample must be determined at the first step. In this paper it is intended to use the occurance probability of the enrichmet factor to delinate the anonialus area within the Khusf 1:50.000 heet. This is done with analysing of 175 geochemical samples which each of them have been analyzed or 20 elements. The results of using this technique indicates 15 anomalies which anomaly number 1 is he most important of them. It is also shown that the obtained results is in good agreement to those cquired with enrichment factor greater than X + 2s.
