Abstract :

The tertiary volcanic acidic- intermediate rocks is expanded in the Birjand area. This rocks is involving basaltic andesite, andesite, dacite and rhyolith. Pyroclastic rocks with the same composition is present.
Magmatic series of this rocks is calcoalkaline. Important characteristic of this rocks is presence of enclave with different compostion, size and shape. One of this masses that discussed in this paper is Markuh dacite at NE birjand wichin is present quartz diorite and tonalite enclave. Quartz dioritic enclave is involving Plg' HB Bio and quartz. Tonalitic enclaves is involving Q, Plg, Bio, Hb, KF, Sphene, Calcite and opac minerals. Probably quartz dioritic enclaves is autolith. and tonalitic enclaves is autolith or xenolithic plagiogmnite.
