Abstract :

Mashhad is in Khorasan province .It is suggested that its granitoides are Upper Triassic and Lower Jurassic.

That granitoides are consisting of three phases as follows:

1-Granite and granodiorite (gr1) can be categorized in two different granite, light and dark color. Younger pegmatite invaded both of above mentioned mass.

2- Monzogranite (gr2) having muscovite and biotite and pegmatite.

3-Monzogranite (gr3) having big restite (two micas) which suggested is rest of melting of older unit.

All of the three type’s granite (gr1, gr2 and gr3) can be classified as Calc-alkaline type and is subdivided to high potassic and per-aluminous. All of them are fractioned from one source.

All of the three types must be S- type, Syn-Collision granite and Post-Orogenic phases.
