Abstract :
This paper deals with seismic microzonation of west mashhad based on the microtremor observations which have carried out at 88 points in the study area. The duration of the observation time was 20 minutes and selected 15 segments with a duration time of 40.96 seconds from each observation. These data were processed by PITSA software and the codes which have been written by MATLAB program and plotted their spectral ratio diagrams. So that fundamental period and spectral ratio amplitude have been exploited from these diagrams. Based on data analyses it is confirmed that the least predominant period is 0.7 second in A06 in the western part of the study area. The maximum period was calculated 4 seconds.
