Abstract :

Nouzad region is located in the active tectonic zone in sistan suture zone. In this research hazard map created by Geostatistic tools in GIS Environment. Between numerous methods and models in geostatistic science, Goussian model and Kriging method show the most accuracy for preparing hazard map. This map shows two dangerous places, one near Dasht e Bayaz fault and other near Nehbandan fault. Nouzad fault, purang fault,esmailabad, sahlabad, Ferdoos, northern Birjand fault and Giv fault are active in Quaternary and create dangerous places. So development of city should do accurately.
