Abstract :

To investigate the lithostratigraphi and Micropaleontology of Abderaz formation,which is located in the northeast of Bojnord,a section of this formation, in the vicinity of sheikh village,was selected and studied.In these studies,many macrofossils of echinoderms,especially some species from Micrastridae and Holastridae families,cephalopods and lamellibranches were obtained.This research has been carried out based on studies of some species from echinocorys genus,and as a result,Coniacian-Santonian age is proposed for the upper and median part of Abderaz formation.
