Abstract :

Darband,s kaolinit mine is located at 32 km southwest of Sabzevar and 10 km East of Halak Abad village. In the study area, Volcanic and sub volcanic units have been recognized.That these units are indicated diffrents intensity of alteration zones of Argilic zone, Propylitic zone, Silicification zone.The mineralogy of these mine in order of percentages are Quartz, Kaolinite, Pyrophyllite. In the based of main oxides analysis with increase in the amount of SiO2, Decreased of Al2O3 amount. Also, large amount of K2O in some of samples are correlate with existing of Muscovite and existing Anatase, Rutile minerals of samples correlate with large amount of TiO2.
