Abstract :

Deh reza area is located in eastern border of Sistan suture zone in south Gazik. The Sistan zone is subdivided to tectonostratigraphic units such as Sahlabad and Gazik provinces. These provinces overlain unconformably over ophiolitic mélange. Three planktic and benthic foraminiferal assemblages are presented from Paleocene to Eocene. These are followed by such:
Assemblage 1: Morozovella aequa, Planorotalites chapmani and Acarinina sp.
Assemblage 2: Alveolina cf. globula, A. elliptica nuttali, Nummulites cf. partschi, Nummulites globules, Lockhartia heimei, Cuvillierina vallensis, C. courmae and Pseudocuvillierina sireli.
Assemblage 1: Nummulites cf. incrassatus, N. chavannesi, Discocyclina sella, Asterocyclina cf. alticostata and Actinocyclina radians.
Sedimentary facies is changed in time and space, as during Paleocene it shows deep facies and Eocene time is changed to shallow water. In fact, the concept of facies dynamic and distributional pattern are shown in this area.
