Abstract :

Mn index is located in 1:100000 Darin (geological) map. Studied area is part of Sabzevar ophiolite zone. Lithology of region is alternation of tuff, volcanic rocks, silt stone, silica shales, tuffous sand stone, radiolite and marine limestone. The data that revedled from petrography and mineralgraphy studies highlighted that manganese form in deep marinezones. Main horizon of manganese is located between volcanic and sedimentary boundary and structure aspect is fault zoning and mining area located between footwall and hanging wall. The main point is manganese concentrated in alkali setting. Furthermore, radiolite form in deeply Marian that is suggested volcanic activity in sedimentary period. Mineralography aspect; Minerals that form this region are pyrolozite, ramsdolite, brownite, pyslomelane and magnetite.
