Abstract :

The alluvial fan of Sangan Khaf is located at SE of Mashhad. In this study, 209 samples selected and described. The results indicate that almost of sediments are coarse grained as sandy Gravel (sG) and gravelly Sand (gS). Textural parameters analysis show that these sediments are very poorly sorted and positively to symmetrical skewed. The lithofacies analysis based on textural and structural elements show that these sediments are Gravel and Sand facies. Gravelly facies is dominated and include of Gmm, Gci, Gcm and Gh.
