Abstract :

In this study rich of hornblende orogenic andesites in North-east of khusf are investigated. This mineral has certain stable field that out of it reacts with around melt and formed pyroxene. Reaction rim thickness and its crystalization are the characteristic for determination of the magma ascent rate. In our samples, reaction rim is breakdown and thickly so magma ascent rate was slow. Cores of the amphibole grains are completely opacitized, suggesting that the magmas had a long residence time in the near surface.
