Abstract :

To determine the tectonics provenance of Oligocene s siliciclastics deposites on Binalood zone, the Taghan section in north of neyshabour was studied. The thickness of the section is about 160 meters. Totally 30 thin sections of sandstones were petrographic study. Plotted data on Qt,F,L ., Qp,Lv,Lsm and Lv, Lm,LS diagrams, indicate recycled orogene provenance for this deposits, also plot data on Dutta and Suttner diagram and Suttner diagram shows humid to semi humid weather for this deposits also Plotted data on Basu diagram and Suttner diagram shows plotonic and metamorphic origin for this deposits.
