Abstract :

Sedimentary sequence in Barfriz section Consist of silisiclastic rocks and divided to three different unit: Sandstone, mudstone, Conglomeratesandstone, mudstone, Conglomerate‐ Sandstone. Lithofacies include of Gh, Gt, Gcm, Gmm, Sm, Sh, St, Sp, Fm, Fl. Architectural elements consist of CH, SB, SG, GB, FF.Charactereris of these sediments can implicated erosional base, Unimodal sedimentary structure (planar cross bed and through crossstratified), Fining up ward sedimentary sycles. Moreover thick gravelly and sndy stories proposed that these sediments precipitated in proximal origin braided river invironment.
