Abstract :

Markasheh Cu deposit is one of the most important sedimentary copper occurrences in Ravar-Tabas-Eshghabad zone. the most important fact for sedimentary copper mineralization is the presence of reduced environment in this Zone. Presence of plant fossils in parts of Garadu redbed sandstone causes the creation of reduced condition in organic matters rich horizons. The oxidizing fluids in reaction with the organic matters and plant fossils rich reduced horizons and in contact whit reduced fluids, cause precipitation copper sulfides and replacement in different parts of plant fossils.
