Abstract :
In the southwest of Birjand cropped out a numerous subvolcanic domes with oligocen age. Their host rocks are Birjand ophiolitic complex (Cretaceous – Paleocene) and volcanic and volcanosedimentary rocks (Eocene). They include compositional rang of andesite, tracky andesite and tracky dacite and emplaced in form of dome and dike. Geochemical evidence indicate that this rocks are high silica adakite and are resulted from magmatism related to subdaction of neotetian oceanic slabs beneath to the accretionary prisms include of ophiolitic slices and Eocene volcanosedimentary rocks in the margins of Helmand and Lut blocks.
