Abstract :

The Norozi drainage basin is located southwest of Ghochan in Khorasan Razavi Province.Lithofacies identified in this watershed including gravelly (Gmm, Gmg, Gcm, Gt), sandy (Sm, St) and muddy (Fl, Fm). Based on lithofacies,architecture elements identified in main river of Norozi basins include: Gravel bars and Bed forms (GB), Lateral Accretion deposits (LA), Sandy bed forms( SB)and Fine grain classtic deposits (FF( Also, based an lithofacies and architectural elements, Facies model have been purposed for the Norozi river from upstream toward downstream as fallows: gravel braided river.
